Back on Lake George

Al was hoping to make it to a campground in the Mother Bunch today, but after 10 hours and 20 minutes in the seat, rowing into a brisk headwind all the way, he had to call it a day just north of there. His total was 32.4 miles, plus a 2 mile uphill portage through Ticonderoga. He sends thanks to the Gower family for their encouragement, and to friends Brian and Bob who made a 30-mile round trip to deliver pasta and libations.
